RARE Fifth Anniversary Celebration

Roosevelt Alumni for Racial Equity (RARE) was borne from a sense of frustration and anger and the deep desire to “do something” and to make a difference. Five years later we are a multi-racial, multicultural 501C3 Non- Profit Organization with a proven track record of collaboration and community engagement.
Our mission is to recognize inequities, work collaboratively for equitable solutions and then implement them. Our goal is simply to give everyone an equal opportunity to reach their individual potential.
In celebration of our 5th Anniversary, on Friday September 5th, we will be recognizing the supporters who have been a significant part of our journey. The program will also include an overview of our current programs and community coalition initiatives as well as an outline of our plans for the future. Please join us for an evening of insight and celebration at the Northwest African American Museum.
