RHS Tour & Film Event by RARE – Register Here
We hope you can join us for a great Roosevelt and RARE event on Saturday August 20!
It’s a unique opportunity to tour Roosevelt High School, view RARE’s documentary film, see classmates and friends, and meet the new RHS principal.
So come to Roosevelt High School on Saturday August 20 at 10 am for:
- Guided tours of the remodeled main building, Ben Snowden Court, and Art Wiper Field.
- A chance to see RHS alumni from all graduation years, and other community members as well!
- An opportunity to meet and hear from the new principal of RHS, Tami Brewer!
- A way to learn more about RARE, the event’s sponsor, and to meet its volunteer team.
- A viewing and discussion of RARE’s new 30-minute documentary film, recently shown on PBS: Roosevelt High School: Beyond Black and White, followed by a brief panel that will include students, Principal Tami Brewer, and RARE members who participated in the film.
Free parking can be found in the school’s parking lot at 12th Ave NE just south of NE 68th street, and on nearby streets. Also, the new Light Rail station is located across the street from the school.

Meet at the main entrance to Roosevelt High School, on NE 66th St, Saturday August 20th, a few minutes before 10 am. Activities begin at 10 am sharp!
