As we approach Giving Tuesday, your contributions and steadfast belief in the value of lifting each other up have made a difference this year and will continue to do so next year.
In 2024, thanks to your support, our inaugural James A. Davis Jr. Scholarship recipients graduated – Leah with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Law, Societies, and Justice; Elsabeth with a degree in Computer Science and a Master of Science expected in May 2025.
Their achievements are proof that when we invest in future leaders, we’re investing in a more equitable future for us all.
Looking ahead, 2025 brings new ambitions: an expansion of our Connections program, which has already sparked transformative conversations between Roosevelt and Garfield high school students.
By empowering more students to lead more activities, we’re able to help more young people strengthen their sense of belonging.
