A Roosevelt alum found a meaningful way to contribute her creativity, talents and encouraging spirit to RARE through the RARE Quilt Initiative. Custom-made quilts are gifted to RARE’s scholarship recipients, representing hundreds of hours of thoughtful planning and masterful craftsmanship.
Workplace Giving Multiplies Donations
Workplace giving programs are corporate initiatives encouraging employees (and sometimes retirees) to donate to nonprofit organizations. Often employee donations to nonprofits are matched 1:1. This means your donation to RARE could be doubled! Check with your employer’s HR department to learn more.

Executive produced and narrated by 4x NBA basketball champion Stephen Curry, SENTENCED is designed to launch 1,000,000 volunteers into the support of early childhood literacy.
