RARE and Urban League Expand the Connections Program Through Strategic Partnership
RARE and Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle continue a strong partnership with plans to expand the Connections program and to hire a full-time Youth Engagement Coordinator. Connections aims to tackle racial inequities in schools by promoting a sense of belonging and leadership among students.

RARE Hosts Workshop at Regional Event for Educators
Members of RARE’s team made a big impact at the 2024 Network for Edwork Convening event for educators of color and all administrators. More than 25 workshop attendees from the Puget Sound region viewed RARE’s documentary film, Roosevelt High School: Beyond Black and White and participated in a lively post-film discussion. Many plan to share the film and RARE’s other programs with their school communities.
